The Necropolis of Ephyra was once a quiet place — now, trouble seems to howl at night.

Once hailed for the Oracle at the Gates of Hell, Ephyra's glory days are way past expiration. Yet lately, rumours roar of the Dead stalking the land, of people disappearing and of unexplained phenomena in the city of the Dead.

New to larping? Grab a place by the tavern, speak with the villagers of Ephira in the Guilds and figure out what is going on in this strange land! Feeling adventurous? Grab an armed buddy (veteran players are always thrilled to comply), and venture forth into a quest!

Feeling creative? Feel free to improvise and problem-solve YOUR way!

About the Event

1. Introduction
Welcome, traveller, to what remains of the Necropolis of Ephyra, known as the Gates of the Underworld.

Where pain is sung in song, and secrets lie in the dirt, it is up to you to figure out what is going on; and what you want to do about it.

Will you forsake what is gone and broken, try to mend and start anew, or carve your own path, despite the odds?
2. An entire weekend of Adventure!
We are expanding the game time! This time the event will run from Saturday morning till the late hours of Sunday.

That means more time for character development, relationship building, interpersonal conflict, mighty fumbles, sharing stories, and — of course — befriending the local fauna.
3. The Early Bird gets the party?!
Feel like checking in early, setting up your tent or camp, and then relaxing and having some fun in-character?

On Friday evening before the game begins, there will be a casual in-character party so that everyone will get a chance to phase into the world of the Southlands and delve into their character, while sharing stories and perhaps drinks.
4. The Necropolis Awaits!
Ephyra, known as the Gates of Death, is a living and (mostly) breathing town and you get a chance to explore it.

Will your character unveil the story, or end up decorating the Necropolis?
5. The Stakes are Yours!
The game is a campaign; every breath your character draws shapes the world around it.

As such, the world grows with you - friends and enemies, oaths and betrayals, mistakes and victories.

Are you ready to face the consequences of your actions?
6. The Established Hierarchy
Various Guilds graced by the Land's Saints are constantly looking to fulfill their agendas, looking to enlist your help along the way.

As resources in the Southlands fall into the hands of the players, who will be the first to lay claim to them?

Whose banner will fly high at the end of the day, and who will boast control of the land of Ephyra?
7. Everything in Motion
The curtain is slowly being pulled.

What is it that moves Ephyra, and why is a Necropolis wrapped in song?

Who and what is buried here, lost and forgotten?

What is the true cost of Truth?

And was the mysterious substance named Tenebrium truly beaten in Kranea, or does its influence still linger?
